Job summary

Jora Malaysia offers a hands-on internship in the Finance team, based in Kuala Lumpur, focusing on essential accounting and reporting tasks. You will enter and reconcile AP/AR data, assist with monthly reports and journals, and help maintain cash books under supervision.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Final Year students preferred).
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Good teamwork skills.
• Availability for an internship of up to 6 months added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in Accounts Payable and Account Receivable data entry and reconciliation.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports, journal entries and accrual and prepayment reconciliation.
• Assist in Cash Book maintenance and bank reconciliation.
• Support audit and compliance documentation.
• Work closely with Finance teams and help with Finance daily administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, organizing e-files and handling correspondence.
• Assist with various ad hoc projects and tasks as assigned.

Education

Accounting/Finance degree or diploma (final year preferred)
