Job Description Summary

The Global Business Services (GBS) team helps drive BD forward by seeking out and implementing innovative ways to operate effectively and efficiently. We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Global Service Regional Leader for our Record-to-Report (RTR) service line in GAR Region. Reporting to the Global Service Owner, Record-to-Report, with dotted line reporting to the Regional CFO or equivalent, the role will be responsible for defining and managing the service delivery framework, performance metrics, usage, controls, and standards within the Record-to-Report process of GAR Region. This role ensures that service levels are consistently met or exceeded, financial reporting is accurate and timely, and continuous improvements are implemented to enhance efficiency and effectiveness for all business process transactions, reporting, and analytics. This role will shape the RTR transformation agenda and roadmap, support execution of the global roadmap, and be a critical member of the Regional Finance Leadership Team.

Responsibilities

• Service Management: Accountable for regional service delivery for RTR GAR Region, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements; driving service quality and performance to SLAs.
• Audit and Process Oversight: Provide strategic leadership in audit processes, identify and mitigate risks within the RTR processes.
• Financial Reconciliation: Oversee accurate reconciliation of accounts, proper consolidation of financial data across entities, adhering to transfer‑pricing policies.
• Month‑End/Year‑End Close: Ensure efficient close processes and timely, accurate reporting; resolve issues that arise.
• Systems Implementation: Support implementation and enhancement of financial systems; ensure data integrity and provide user training.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision‑making of regional headquarters; provide accurate financial data and scenario analysis.
• Continuous Improvement: Champion continuous improvement; identify opportunities for standardization and operational improvement; drive stakeholder alignment and resourcing.
• Outsourced Stakeholder Management: Drive continuous improvement with outsourced stakeholders in RTR processes; manage operations pain points.
• Project Management: Conduct ad‑hoc projects and complex assignments; support multiple projects in a time‑sensitive environment.
• Transformation Roadmap: Provide RTR input into tech & process standardization roadmap; lead talent, change management and engagement for transformation projects in GAR Region.
• Governance & Stakeholder Management: Align with cross‑functional partners, finance functions, and represent RTR at global and regional forums.
• Talent & Change Leadership: Motivate team during change; communicate vision; provide input to global/regional talent strategies; support associate learning and development.

Qualify opportunities to standardize processes and documentation; approve the regional roadmap and strategy for RTR process design; input to regional talent strategy and change management; identify and qualify optimization areas.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree is a plus. Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or equivalent is highly desirable. Understanding of IFRS, GAAP. Minimum 10 years of experience in regional RTR processes including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
