Job summary

Randstad Enterprise is seeking an RPO Account Director to lead a regional team across APAC, delivering advisory talent acquisition services and strategic client engagement.

You will drive market intelligence, supplier management, and innovative sourcing while coaching the team and managing account performance. Fluent English is required; Mandarin is preferred. Based in Malaysia or China with potential travel.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar leading role in recruitment within the RPO model.
• Hands-on RPO management experience for Malaysia region is a must.
• RPO management experience for China or other APAC regions is preferred.
• Fluent English is a must; Mandarin speaking is strongly preferred.
• IT, Tech, or Semiconductor industry experience is highly preferred.
• Proven ability to lead a function and make critical business decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with high-level decision-makers.

Responsibilities

About the Role

Responsibilities

The RPO Account Director is responsible for leading a regional team across multiple countries (APAC) to deliver an advisory talent acquisition service.

This includes incorporating market intelligence, effective supplier management, creative sourcing strategies for direct supply models, and problem resolution. The role also involves managing the commercial performance of the account and coaching team members for growth and development.

Client Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients.


• Proactively engage to understand client vision and strategy, and develop account roadmaps.


• Identify process improvement areas and lead Lean Sigma reviews.


• Create and deliver client Monthly Business Reviews and Quarterly Talent Advisory Meetings.

Operations Management

• Work with the implementation team to develop customized reporting.


• Establish and maintain effective benchmarking and control of bill rates.


• Resolve escalated commercial and contractual issues.


• Ensure compliance with internal processes, review operational risk registers, and lead change management initiatives.


• Manage supplier performance metrics and work with suppliers on improvements.


• Conduct quarterly performance review coaching sessions.


• Review supplier contract compliance and manage the onboarding process.

People Management

• Conduct quarterly performance reviews and create individual development plans.


• Provide coaching, mentorship, and support learning and development.


• Lead talent identification initiatives.


• Hold regular team meetings to review performance, update on client initiatives, and share company news.

Change Management

• Drive effective change management for new technologies, Lean Sigma initiatives, and talent advisory transitions.

Financial Performance Management

• Manage financial performance against budget and mitigate financial penalties.


• Ensure a thorough understanding of contracts to minimize risk and ensure accurate invoicing.

Qualifications
