Job summary

Roche invites applications for a motivated RPAP Intern to join the RPAP team in Malaysia. This internship offers hands-on experience in RPAP execution and improving patient access to Roche products, while maintaining strict data confidentiality.

The role supports patient journeys, updates treatment cycles in Roche systems, and involves operational tasks across multiple teams. Ideal candidates are pursuing Life Sciences with strong English and Bahasa Malaysia skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM, IGCSE or equivalent certification is required.
• Currently pursuing a degree in Life Sciences, Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Bioengineering, or a related field.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other basic computer software/applications.
• Familiarity and hands-on experience with LLMs and advanced prompting.
• Familiarity or hand-on experience with modern digital tools, basic workflow automation (eg. App Script), Python will be preferred.
• Internship Duration: Capability to commit to a 6-month full-time internship (highly preferred)

Responsibilities

• Support the streamlining of RPAP processes utilizing digital & AI solutions.
• Assist in updating patient information and treatment cycles accurately into Roche electronic systems.
• Review of supporting documents via various channels.
• Review source documents for potential reports of adverse events and product complaints.
• Update the status of treatment cycles within Roche electronic systems.
• Support general administrative duties such as filing documents, distributing documents to hospitals and other data management.
• Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time as required by the business

The Position

Job Purpose

We are seeking a motivated and detailed-oriented RPAP Intern to join our Roche Patient Assistance Program (RPAP) team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the execution of RPAP and making a difference to patient’s lives. This role will be supporting the patient’s journey throughout the program while compliantly improving access of Roche products to patients in Malaysia.
