Job summary

Centific Global Solutions (M) Sdn Bhd in Penang seeks a Project Manager for Robotics Lab & Research to drive visibility, coordinate multi-discipline teams, and ensure timely delivery of initiatives across hardware, software/AI, data pipeline, and evaluation domains.

This role requires extensive project management experience in technical environments, with strong planning, reporting, and cross-geography communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in project or program management, ideally in robotics, hardware, R&D, or industrial automation.
• Familiarity with robotics/AI development workflows and hardware-software integration.
• Experience with tracking/reporting tools, dashboards, and Microsoft Office 365.
• Advanced certification (PMP, PgMP) and business acumen preferred.

Responsibilities

• Track progress of robotics lab and research initiatives, maintaining a live status view and milestones.
• Define and manage scope, goals, deliverables, and boundaries; control scope changes.
• Build and maintain timelines and roadmaps across concurrent initiatives; manage risks and blockers.
• Coordinate across hardware, software/AI, annotation, and evaluation teams; ensure clean hand-offs.
