Job summary

Serve Robotics seeks an Electrical Engineer to support manufacturing builds, validation, and testing of electrical hardware in Malaysia. You will troubleshoot failures, drive root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions for PCBAs, harnesses, and power systems.

EMI planning and fixture development are also key, with collaboration across design, systems, QA, and suppliers. Ideal candidates have 4+ years in hardware validation and hands-on debugging, with a degree in Electrical Engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years in electrical engineering, hardware validation, manufacturing support, or test engineering for electromechanical products.
• Hands-on experience debugging electrical subsystems in lab, manufacturing, or field environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide local electrical engineering support for manufacturing builds, NPI activities, and sustaining production in Malaysia.
• Troubleshoot electrical failures and drive root cause analysis to closure.
• Support yield improvement, failure analysis, rework guidance, and corrective actions for PCBAs, harnesses, and power systems.
• Assist EMI scan planning and execution, including test setup review, debug support, issue isolation, and documentation.
• Collaborate with design and systems teams to identify emission sources and implement mitigation actions (grounding, shielding, filtering, layout).
• Develop and improve IAC test fixtures and associated verification tests.
• Coordinate with contract manufacturers, test partners, and local suppliers to resolve production and test issues.
• Create and maintain test procedures, troubleshooting guides, and validation records.
• Communicate issues clearly with remote teams and drive timely resolutions.
