Job summary

Beyondsoft (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. seeks an experienced hardware test and manufacturing engineer to support PCBA/PBA production, troubleshoot issues, and lead RCCA activities.

You will maintain test stands, fixtures, and calibration routines while coordinating with contract manufacturers and global teams. The role is based in Bayan Lepas, Penang, Malaysia, requiring hands-on technical collaboration. Minimum 4 years in electronics manufacturing, strong problem-solving, and proficiency with Python

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in electrical/electronics/mechatronics or related field.
• Minimum 4 years in PCBA/PBA manufacturing, electronics testing, hardware testing, or manufacturing engineering.
• Hands-on circuit troubleshooting, RCCA, and corrective actions.
• Familiarity with test equipment, programming/flashing tools, firmware/software, and automated test scripts (Python).
• Able to read electrical schematics, circuit diagrams, and test results.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on production environment experience and cross-functional coordination.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on engineering support for PCBA/PBA production and troubleshoot issues to maintain quality, yield, and throughput.
• Perform component- and circuit-level troubleshooting and lead RCCA/root cause analysis for recurring failures.
• Maintain and troubleshoot production test stands, fixtures, and measurement equipment, including calibration.
• Perform software/firmware flashing and verification; run automated/semi-automated production tests per SOPs.
• Generate and maintain PASS/FAIL test reports, issue logs, and engineering documentation for traceability.
• Coordinate technical issues with contract manufacturers and internal/overseas teams; escalate as needed.
• Willing to work in Bayan Lepas, Penang, Malaysia.
