Job summary

FOZ One Sdn Bhd is expanding its regional market presence in Central, Southern, and Northern Malaysia by combining technical expertise with proactive sales to deliver advanced robotics and automation solutions to B2B clients. The Sales Engineer will conduct site visits, gather requirements, and craft robust proposals while coordinating with R&D and engineering teams to tailor automation solutions.

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent technical background.
2–4 years of technical B2B sales experience, ideally in robotics/automation/hardware.

Responsibilities

Identify and secure new business opportunities within assigned territories (Central/Southern/Northern).
Conduct technical presentations, site assessments, and requirement gathering for custom automation solutions.
Draft accurate commercial proposals, BOMs, and ROI models with internal teams.
Serve as trusted technical advisor to existing accounts and handle upsell opportunities.
Monitor regional market; track competitors and trade events.
Visit client facilities to perform process audits and gather cycle time requirements.
Collaborate on solution architecture, BOMs, proposals, and ROI calculations.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and SLAs to close contracts.
Ensure smooth post-sales handover to project teams and manage ongoing account relationships.
