Job summary

BWC Construction in Malaysia is seeking a Quantity Surveyor with road construction experience to manage tendering, cost estimation, and final accounts. You will prepare BoQ, monitor costs, and support procurement, ensuring timely submissions and accurate cost control across projects.

Candidates should hold a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Quantity Surveying and have at least 2 years of relevant experience on road projects, with strong communication skills to liaise with consultants, contractors, and

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying.
• At least 2 year experience and above as Quantity Surveyor in road construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Able to calculate cost of projects tendering, preparation of tender submission & BoQ, cost estimation, procurement support and follow up of project.
• Taking off quantity.
• Able to prepare project final account & analysis, variation order works, interim progress claim.
• Project organizing, costing control by monitoring the site work & progress.
• Prepare letter of award to sub-contractors and verify their claims of the project.
• Processing progress claim and variations to ensure on time submission.
• To undertake other related jobs from time to time as directed by Contract/Project Manager.
• Track payment status to ensure the payment is made by Finance Dept within the contractual payment period.
• Liaise and communicating with all project stakeholders (consultants, contractors, equipment suppliers, management, public etc.) to ensure all contract administration matters are attended promptly and kept up to date.
