Jora Malaysia is seeking a Software Engineer to build enterprise apps on Mendix Low-Code Platform. You will work with international clients, gather requirements, and participate in Agile delivery. JLPT N2 Japanese is required for direct client engagement and travel may be involved.

The role offers training for transitioning to low-code development and growth into consultancy and management tracks.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise applications using Mendix Low-Code Platform.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning and stand-ups.

• Perform testing, troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Understand client processes and identify improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure delivery.

RM 10k Japanese Speaker Software Engineer at (PJ)(Software Company)

We are looking for a motivated Software Engineer to join our growing development team. You will develop enterprise applications using the Mendix Low-Code Development Platform and support clients in achieving their digital transformation goals. Full training will be provided to transition from traditional software development into low-code development.

This role offers exposure to international projects, client-facing engagements, and a clear growth path into consultancy and management.

Job Responsibilities

Develop innovative applications using the Mendix Low-Code Development Platform based on client requirements

Participate in Agile/Scrum processes including sprint planning and daily stand-ups

Gather, define, and document functional and technical software requirements

Perform application testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, and enhancements

Understand client business processes and identify opportunities for innovation and improvement

Collaborate with clients, project stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure successful delivery

Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients

Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices

Support project implementation at client sites and travel internationally when required

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Business IT Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Minimum 1 to 5 years of experience in software development

Japanese language proficiency is required — JLPT N2 level or equivalent (this role involves direct engagement with Japanese-speaking clients and international project assignments)

Excellent communication skills in English

Experience working in Agile and/or Scrum environments

Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and ownership mindset

Self-motivated with a strong willingness to learn and grow professionally

Comfortable working directly with clients and in client-facing projects

Willingness to travel internationally for project assignments

Experience with React Native is an advantage

Knowledge of the Mendix platform is an advantage
