Job summary

Techstreet is seeking a Software Engineer (Mendix Low-code) to build innovative applications for clients on-site, with travel as needed. You will receive training to transition from traditional coding to low-code development, and you will grow toward consultancy and management paths.

The role requires 1–5 years in software development, strong English and Japanese communication, and familiarity with Scrum/Agile methods. Health insurance and performance bonuses are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Software Engineering or Business IT management.
• Experience with software development (1–5 years) andability to work with low-code platforms.
• Fluent communication in English and Japanese (N2) and willingness to learn new skills.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the Mendix Low-Code Development Platform to craft innovative applications tailored to client needs.
• Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups to ensure project alignment and progress.
• Define comprehensive functional and technical software requirements to ensure clarity and alignment with project objectives.
• Conduct rigorous testing and provide ongoing maintenance for applications to uphold performance and reliability standards.
• Cultivate deep insights into clients' businesses and industries, leveraging this understanding to identify and capitalize on new opportunities for innovation and improvement.
• Foster strong client relationships through clear and effective communication, collaborating closely with both clients and superiors to achieve project success.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in software development and propose innovative solutions to improve our products and processes.
