Job summary

FWD Malaysia Holdings Sdn Bhd is seeking a senior Risk Management & Compliance leader to drive robust risk controls and a compliant culture. The role offers autonomy in decision-making and influence over governance processes to safeguard organisational integrity.

You will lead risk assessments, oversee critical risk and incident management activities, and mentor a team while maintaining strong internal and external stakeholder relationships with regulators and auditors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in risk management, business administration, or related field.
• Minimum 6 years in risk management, with 4 years in Senior Executive/Manager role.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements (BNM) and enterprise risk frameworks (ORM/ORR).
• Proficiency in risk assessment tools and compliance monitoring systems.
• Experience with insurance/takaful operational processes and privacy impact analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the implementation of advanced risk management frameworks.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and timely reporting.
• Oversee risk assessments for new products, outsourcing, and digital initiatives.
• Facilitate RCSA, ICP, KRIs, Risk Incidents, and Issue Management processes.
• Mentor junior team members and coordinate risk awareness programs.
