In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Product Redesign & Sustaining Engineering
- Lead redesign activities for End-of-Life (EOL) components in RF Test & Measurement products to extend product lifecycle, maintain product availability, and support continued business growth.
- Redesign and validate circuits across analog, power supply, RF, and microwave domains, including both discrete and IC-based designs.
- Evaluate and qualify alternative components while minimizing impact to hardware architecture, software functionality, and product calibration requirements.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing teams to incorporate Design for Manufacturability (DFM) improvements that enhance product quality, yield, and reliability.
- Develop proof-of-concept (POC) designs and prototypes to validate redesign approaches and gain technical approval from RF domain experts.
- Perform root cause analysis for issues identified during verification, validation, and manufacturing builds.
- Document technical findings, corrective actions, and project progress, and communicate updates effectively to stakeholders.
- Drive successful deployment of redesign projects into manufacturing to meet demand and release schedules.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI), Ship & Ramp, calibration, and production activities for RF Test & Measurement products.
- Work closely with Manufacturing, Failure Analysis, and Quality teams to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth product releases.
- Provide technical training and ongoing support to manufacturing technicians and Failure Analysis engineers.
For This Role, You Will Need:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates with strong academic projects or internship experience are encouraged to apply.
- Familiarity with failure analysis, root cause investigation, and debugging techniques.
- Ability to travel to Austin, Texas, for training and collaboration with global R&D teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in RF and microwave circuit design within Test & Measurement products.
- Familiarity with NI/Emerson RF products, calibration processes, and Test & Measurement industry standards.
- Knowledge of Board Level Best Practices (BLBP) and Analog Design Best Practices (ADBP).
- Strong hands-on troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Who You Are
- A proactive and self-driven engineer who thrives in solving complex technical challenges.
- Able to identify opportunities for improvement and drive solutions from concept to implementation.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities while working with cross-functional teams.
- Passionate about learning and growing in RF, analog, and Test & Measurement technologies.
