Job summary

Emerson Test & Measurement seeks an engineer to lead redesigns for RF, analog, and power domains, sustaining products and supporting NPI for RF Test & Measurement systems.

The role involves circuit design for EOL components, failure analysis, root-cause investigations, and collaboration with Manufacturing and Quality teams; travel to Austin for training and global team alignment is required. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electronics or related field is required.
• Familiarity with failure analysis and debugging techniques is expected.
• Willingness to travel to Austin, Texas for training with global R&D teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead redesign activities for EOL RF/Analog components to extend lifecycle.
• Redesign and validate circuits across RF, analog, and microwave domains.
• Evaluate alternative components with minimal impact on hardware and software.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing to implement DFM improvements.
• Develop POC designs and obtain approval from RF domain experts.
• Perform root cause analysis for verification and manufacturing issues.
• Document findings and communicate progress to stakeholders.
• Drive deployment of redesigns into manufacturing and meet release schedules.
• Support NPI, Ship & Ramp, calibration and production activities.
