Job summary

Mini-Circuits Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Project Engineer to assist the Project Manager with scheduling, planning, resourcing, and delivering engineering projects to meet customer requirements.

The role involves coordinating design and development of new products, monitoring budgets and timelines, and maintaining quality and documentation across multiple projects in a manufacturing setting in Penang.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering or equivalent or any higher qualification
• Preferably with 3 years working experience in related field (RF).
• Self-motivated, embrace challenges, responsible and able to lead a group of engineers.
• Able to manage multiple projects with adherence to planned project timeline

Responsibilities

• Preparing, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring of assigned engineering projects.
• Performing quality control tasks on budgets, schedules, plans, and personnel performance and reporting on the project's status.
• Cooperating and communicating with the project manager and other project participants and collaborating with senior engineers to create more efficient project methods and successful project implementation.
• Responsible for coordinating and managing the design and development of new products
• Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
• Ensure development works to be on schedule by managing available resources.
• Maintain good documentation and process of project management.
• Ensure implementation of control and quality of project deliverables to meet stated requirement
• Coordinate multi-functional input, communicate and make decisions.
• Provide effective communication to team members, management and all functional areas
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels.
• Any other job responsibilities assigned by the supervisor as and when required.
• Observe and ensure safety requirements.
