Job summary

Mini Circuits Malaysia is seeking a Production Planner to optimize in-house and subcontracted resources to meet customers' requirements with a focus on delivery commitments. Plan DL, equipment and materials for in-house production loading.

Collaborate with Materials, R&D and NPI for startups, and with Engineering for machine setup and conversion to ensure smooth production flow and 5S-compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Management or Mathematics or Economics or Computer Science.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Knowledge of SAP will be an added advantage.
• Detail-oriented personality. Strong commitment to the job and ability to complete tedious and detailed tasks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules by considering Work-in-Process levels, Finished Goods inventory, capacity utilization, and line balancing requirements.
• Generate and manage subcontractor orders to support designated product lines and meet production requirements.
• Assess and plan equipment requirements based on capacity needs and production forecasts for assigned product lines.
• Plan and coordinate die requirements to ensure material availability and uninterrupted production flow.
• Determine and plan skilled direct labor requirements to support production demands and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with the Materials Department to ensure adequate availability of raw materials and timely replenishment to support production schedules.
• Support Research & Development activities by facilitating new product introduction, start-up, and ramp-up processes.
• Support customer order fulfillment activities, order acknowledgements, expedited requests, and other ad hoc requirements.
• Liaise closely with Production and Engineering teams to resolve machine setup, capacity, and yield-related issues.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor to support business and operational objectives.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment in accordance with 5S principles, while ensuring compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
• Any other job responsibilities assigned by the supervisor as and when required.
