Job summary

Dive Supply Asia Sdn Bhd is seeking a hands-on website and online presence lead in Nusajaya, Johor. The role focuses on website management, SEO, troubleshooting, security, and backups, with involvement in digital marketing, customer engagement, and day-to-day operations.

The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, sociable, and enjoys an active, outdoor lifestyle, with the ability to work with teams and customers in a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• Has background in IT or related field.
• Experience managing websites, preferably WordPress/WooCommerce.
• Able to troubleshoot common website issues independently.
• Knowledge of backups, security, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain WordPress/WooCommerce website daily.
• Update pages, products, images, pricing, descriptions, categories.
• Monitor performance, speed, UX and uptime.
• Perform on-page SEO and monitor Google search performance.
• Troubleshoot plugin conflicts, broken pages, and checkout issues.
• Keep WordPress, themes and plugins updated and compatible.
• Perform regular website backups and secure storage.
• Assist with digital marketing campaigns and social content.
• Support daily retail operations and customer inquiries.

The main focus of this role is website management, SEO, troubleshooting, maintenance, website security, and backups, while also supporting digital marketing, customer engagement, and daily operations.

Your Responsibilities

Website Management, SEO & Technical Support

• Manage and maintain our WordPress/WooCommerce website on a daily basis.

• Update and maintain website pages, product listings, images, pricing, descriptions, categories, and other content.

• Monitor website performance, functionality, loading speed, and overall user experience.

• Perform SEO management and optimisation, including basic on-page SEO, keywords, page titles, meta descriptions, URLs, internal linking, image optimisation, and website structure.

• Monitor Google search performance and identify opportunities to improve website visibility and rankings.

• Troubleshoot common website issues such as plugin conflicts, broken pages, loading errors, display issues, checkout problems, website downtime, and other WordPress/WooCommerce errors.

• Identify the cause of website problems and resolve basic issues independently before escalating more complex issues.

• Manage WordPress, WooCommerce, themes, plugins, and other website components, ensuring they are properly updated and compatible.

• Perform and monitor regular website backups and ensure backup files are properly stored and accessible when required.

Digital Marketing & Online Presence

• Assist with digital marketing campaigns, promotions, and online advertising.

• Create and manage content for social media platforms.

Daily Operations & Administration Support

• Support daily retail shop operations and administrative tasks.

• Assist with customer enquiries through WhatsApp, email, phone calls, and online platforms.

• Assist with product updates, inventory information, sales-related tasks, and online orders.

• Support customer follow-ups and general sales activities.

• Assist with company events, exhibitions, training activities, and promotions.

• Provide general operational support to ensure smooth daily business activities.

We're Looking For Someone Who

• Has a background in IT, Information Technology, Computer Science, website management, technical support, or a related field.

• Has hands-on experience managing websites, preferably WordPress/WooCommerce.

• Can independently troubleshoot and resolve common website issues.

• Understands how websites, hosting, domains, SSL, plugins, themes, and databases generally work.

• Knowledgeable in website backups, website security, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

• Has knowledge of SEO and Google Search Console or similar SEO tools.

• Is willing to learn and take ownership of website-related responsibilities.

• Has good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Additional Advantages

• Experience managing website hosting, domains, SSL, backups, or website migrations.
