Job summary

Wisdom Factory Sdn Bhd in Penang is seeking a Webstore Executive focused on e-commerce and website optimisation to drive practical improvements that boost conversion and user experience. You will turn feedback into measurable actions, optimise product pages and journeys, and collaborate with marketing, creative, customer service, and operations teams.

The role requires strong English, data interpretation, and ability to communicate with Mandarin-speaking customers daily.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Strong written English, research ability, data interpretation and structured problem-solving skills.
• Able to turn unclear business needs into practical website improvements and measurable actions.
• Self-driven, commercially aware and comfortable learning new technologies independently.
• Familiar with AI tools and interested in using automation to improve productivity.
• Good visual judgement and understanding of user experience, conversion and brand presentation.
• Experience with e-commerce platforms, web analytics, UX, CRO, CMS or automation tools is an advantage.
• Able to communicate clearly with colleagues and business stakeholders in the languages used for daily operations.
• Able to communicate confidently in Mandarin, as the role involves assisting Mandarin-speaking customers on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

• Improve page speed, navigation, search, filters and mobile-first shopping experience.
• Identify and reduce friction across product discovery, cart and checkout journeys.
• Improve reviews, delivery tracking, returns, FAQs and product information based on customer feedback.
• Analyse negative feedback and turn recurring issues into practical website improvements.
• Optimise product pages, product recommendations, bundles, cross-sells and abandoned-cart journeys.
• Plan and run a continuous testing and improvement loop using customer, sales and website data.
• Maintain a consistent, premium and trustworthy brand presentation across the webstore.
• Research, evaluate and implement suitable webstore, analytics, AI and automation tools.
• Automate suitable back-office and repetitive webstore processes.
• Prepare clear documentation, workflows and performance reports.
• Work cross-functionally with marketing, creative, customer service, operations and management teams
