Job summary

Huawei Consumer Business Group in Kuala Lumpur seeks a seasoned professional to lead end-to-end store development and renovation projects. You will oversee retail assets, GMB listings, and contract management, coordinating with Finance, Procurement, and external partners to ensure timely openings and brand-compliant store openings.

The role requires strong stakeholder management, budgeting discipline, and experience with retail image guidelines across multiple store formats in Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Experience managing shopping mall stores, flagship stores, experience stores, or retail shop-in-shop projects.
• Familiarity with retail visual merchandising standards, brand image guidelines, and store opening procedures.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, with strong capabilities in project planning, budgeting, timeline management, and quality control.
• Good knowledge of construction processes, interior fit-out works, building regulations, and contractor management.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end new store development and construction projects, including site handover, design implementation, installation, inspection, and final handover, ensuring timely store openings or coordinate store renovation, refurbishment, relocation, and retail image upgrade projects in accordance with retail image standards and approved project timelines.
• Manage company-owned retail assets, including furniture, fixtures, equipment, and signage, covering allocation, transfer, recovery, reuse, and disposal.
• Coordinate experience store agreements, including preparation, renewal, amendment, termination, and contract documentation management.
• Manage Google My Business (GMB) listings for store openings, relocations, closures etc, ensuring accurate and up-to-date store information.
• Prepare and monitor project budgets for store construction, renovation, reinstatement, and closure, ensuring effective cost control and budget utilization with Finance, Procurement, and relevant stakeholders.
