Job summary

KK SUPER MART Seremban is seeking a Shop Assistant (Full Time) to receive, record, arrange, inspect and return goods, and to manage inventory and merchandising tasks. You will also handle stock checks, layout upkeep and ensure accurate product placement.

Responsibilities include maintaining store cleanliness, operating POS systems, assisting customers, and addressing emergencies while upholding the store's image.

Qualifications

• SPM, Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
• Previous retail experience (minimum 1–3 years), with supervisory responsibilities preferred.
• Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer applications.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• To receive, record, arrange, inspect, and return goods, and manage inventory and merchandising tasks.
• To maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping within the store premises.
• To operate and handle all equipment and machines in the store per procedures.
• To ensure the safety and proper care of the store's property and assets.
• To provide courteous and professional service to customers.
• To handle emergencies appropriately and report to relevant personnel.
• To uphold and maintain the good image and reputation of KK Supermart at all times.
