Job summary

SOGO Kuala Lumpur invites a Sales Analytics Specialist to join our busy analytics team. Based in Kuala Lumpur, you will analyse daily, weekly, and monthly sales across departments, brands, and stores, and deliver actionable insights to drive growth.

You will prepare dashboards and reports, support merchandising and marketing with data, track promotions, and ensure data accuracy across reporting systems. The role requires 2–3 years of experience and strong Excel and data visualization skills.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in sales analysis.
• Experience in department store / retail industry is highly preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Table, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, data analysis).
• Knowledge of Power BI / Tableau or similar reporting tools is an advantage.
• Strong analytical mindset with good attention to detail.
• Able to interpret large datasets and convert them into actionable business insights.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Independent, proactive, and able to meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Analyse daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance across departments, brands, and stores.
• Prepare and maintain sales reports, dashboards, and management reporting packs.
• Identify key sales trends, product performance, and opportunities for growth.
• Support merchandising and marketing teams with data insights
• Track and evaluate promotional and campaign performance.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency of sales data across reporting systems.
