Job summary

Dan John is seeking a motivated Retail Sales Associate to engage customers, provide styling advice, and guide product selection in a fashion-focused store in Malaysia.

You will maintain visual merchandising, ensure proper stock levels, and support stock transfers while upholding brand standards and delivering exceptional service. Weekend shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM or Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of retail sales experience.
• Fresh graduates encouraged to apply.
• Familiarity with retail operations, visual merchandising, and stock management is a plus.
• Basic computer literacy (MS Office, POS).

Responsibilities

• Customer Engagement & Sales: Welcome customers and build rapport to understand needs; provide styling advice and guide product selection; share product knowledge to enhance shopping experience; work towards sales targets.
• Store Presentation & Merchandising: Maintain visual merchandising standards; ensure correct sizes, colors, and quantities on the shop floor; keep store, fitting rooms, and displays clean and inviting.
• Operations & Stock Management: Assist in receiving, processing, replenishing stock, and inter-store transfers; participate in stock counts; follow SOPs for day-to-day operations.
• Teamwork & Brand Representation: Support Store Manager in daily operations and promotions; collaborate for a positive, efficient, sales-focused environment; act as a brand ambassador.

Key Responsibilities.

Customer Engagement & Sales:

• Share in-depth knowledge of product features, benefits, and brand heritage to enhance the shopping experience.


• Proactively work towards achieving individual and store sales targets.

Store Presentation & Merchandising:

• Maintain impeccable visual merchandising standards in line with brand guidelines.


• Ensure all merchandise is presented in the correct sizes, colours, and quantities on the shop floor.


• Keep the store, fitting rooms, and display areas clean, tidy, and inviting at all times.

Operations & Stock Management:

• Assist in receiving, processing, and replenishing stock, including inter-store transfers.


• Participate in regular stock counts and support inventory control measures.


• Follow all store operating procedures to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Teamwork & Brand Representation:

• Support the Store Manager in daily operations and promotional activities.


• Collaborate with team members to create a positive, efficient, and sales-focused work environment.


• Act as a brand ambassador, reflecting the company’s values and image in every customer interaction.

Job Requirements.

Qualification:

Minimum SPM, Diploma, or equivalent education and above.

Experiences:

• 1-2 years of experience in retail sales, preferably in fashion or lifestyle brands.


• Fresh graduates with strong passion for retail are encouraged to apply.

Knowledge:

• Familiarity with retail operations, visual merchandising, and stock management is a plus.


• Basic computer literacy (MS Office, POS systems).

Qualities:
