Job summary

XTEP Malaysia is seeking an experienced Retail Operations Lead to set annual sales targets, regional goals, and store performance benchmarks. You will monitor progress, coordinate with malls and internal teams, and drive improvements across inventory, merchandising, and staff training.

Requires a diploma or above, 5+ years in retail with 2+ years in management, and Mandarin proficiency. Experience with fashion or sports brands and strong data/Excel skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Diploma or above is required; degree preferred in Marketing/Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of retail experience, with 2+ years in a management role.
• Experience with fashion, apparel, or sports brands is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of retail store operations and management.

Responsibilities

• Set annual sales targets and regional targets for stores and malls.
• Monitor store performance and target achievement; report on progress.
• Provide recommendations for product purchasing and ordering.
• Improve store performance through staff training, inventory management and merchandising standards.
• Plan and manage major promotions, campaigns and store openings/closures as needed.
• Coordinate with malls, Product/Merchandising and internal teams on inventory and display standards.
