Job summary

Attic Group Sdn Bhd is seeking a Retail Operation Manager (Convenient Store) to oversee purchasing, procurement, supplier management, and inventory control to ensure smooth store operations. The role includes forecasting stock, pricing strategy, margin management, and driving sales, profitability while leading staff, training, and roster planning.

Diploma/degree in related field with 3–5 years retail ops experience is required. Weekend availability may be needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Retail Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3–5 years of retail operations experience with managerial duties preferred.
• Strong knowledge in purchasing, inventory, supplier management, sales and cost control.
• Experience in staff management, KPI monitoring, budgeting, and P&L management.
• Familiar with POS, inventory systems, and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee purchasing and procurement processes and negotiate with suppliers.
• Manage supplier performance, pricing, and contract terms.
• Control inventory, stock replenishment, expiry, wastage, and shrinkage.
• Forecast demand, plan assortments, and optimize margins and pricing.
• Drive sales, revenue, and profitability; monitor KPIs and budget adherence.
• Lead store operations, merchandising, promotions, and POS cash control.
• Manage staffing, rosters, training and development, and SOP implementation.
• Ensure store cleanliness, customer service excellence, and reporting to management.

Retail Operation Manager (Convenient Store)

This role encompasses purchasing and procurement, supplier management and negotiation, inventory control, stock replenishment and forecasting, cost control, gross profit and margin management, pricing and markup strategy, sales and revenue management, product and category management, slow-moving and dead stock control, expiry and wastage control, shrinkage and loss prevention, cash and POS control, merchandising and product display, promotion planning, staff management, staff training and development, manpower and roster planning, SOP implementation, store operations and cleanliness, customer service, KPI monitoring, P&L management, budgeting and expense control, management reporting, and store profitability and performance improvement.

Requirement

Diploma or Degree in Retail Management, Business Administration, or related field

Minimum 3–5 years of retail operations experience, with managerial experience preferred

Strong knowledge in purchasing, inventory, supplier management, sales, and cost control

Experience in staff management, KPI monitoring, budgeting, and P&L management

Familiar with POS, inventory systems, and Microsoft Excel

Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills

Able to work independently and manage multiple operational tasks

Willing to work weekends and public holidays when required
