Job summary

Maxis is seeking a capable retail professional to join our team in Malaysia as an Assistant to the HoMC, driving store sales and service excellence.

You will oversee daily operations, inventory, cash handling and SOP compliance, coach the store team, ensure a smooth customer journey, and deputise for the HoMC when required. This role emphasizes leadership, performance, and customer focus.

Qualifications

• Retail store management experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the HoMC in executing plans to meet and exceed store sales and service targets.
• Support daily store operations, including inventory, cash handling, and SOP compliance.
• Coach, motivate, and supervise the store team to foster a high-performance culture.
• Ensure a smooth customer journey by managing traffic flow, store presentation, and resolving customer issues.
• Act as second-in-command and deputise for the HoMC in their absence.
• Monitor and report store performance metrics to the HoMC.
