Job summary

LUXASIA is seeking a highly experienced Retail Operations Manager for Malaysia, focusing on transforming retail strategy and execution. You will lead a team across stores, drive sales, and ensure best-in-class customer experiences in a dynamic beauty market.

You will oversee audits, store launches, and training while shaping mid- to long-term growth strategies. Travel within the MY region is expected as part of this leadership role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience.
• 8–10 years in Sales and/or Marketing in Beauty and Cosmetics.
• Rich knowledge of Sales & Retail Operations.
• 5+ years leading teams with strong people management skills.
• In-depth retail understanding with strong commercial sense.
• Stock inventory management skills.
• Excellent communication across multi-cultural audiences.
• Strong team player and results-oriented.
• Digitally savvy with project management experience.
• Willing and ready to travel within MY region.

Responsibilities

• Drive Retail Operations Strategy and Execution with end-state in mind to achieve best-in-class Retail Excellence.
• Manage overall retail operations to drive sales, reinforce operations, and store leadership development.
• Ensure operational stewardship and competitive market execution.
• Lead audits and improvements for EQR and annual free goods audits.
• Open new doors, launches, and train manpower per door.
• Develop mid- and long-term growth strategies and sales plans with Senior Brand Lead.
• Oversee regional retail projects to establish retail operations excellence.
• Formulate retail policies to enhance customer experience through SOPs.
• Recruit, hire, and train Retail Supervisors and Beauty Consultants.
• Lead Mystery Shopping programs to ensure high-quality retail experience.
