Job summary

RHB Bank Berhad is seeking a highly motivated Share Trading Officer to join our team in Malaysia. In this role, you will execute trades for local and foreign retail equities, manage client portfolios, and drive sales initiatives while ensuring full regulatory compliance.

You will strengthen client relationships by providing market updates, cross-selling the Bank’s products, participating in branch marketing, and reviewing credit limits to support risk management.

Responsibilities

• Execute trades for local and foreign retail equities clients.
• Carry out sales and marketing activities to acquire new clients.
• Manage client portfolios by providing market updates and maintaining strong relationships.
• Promote and cross-sell the Bank’s products to clients.
• Participate in branch marketing and promotional activities to ensure smooth execution of events.
• Review clients’ credit limits based on collateral, financial standing, and track record to minimize contra losses and support risk management.
• Take reasonable steps to understand clients’ backgrounds, investment objectives, financial standing, and sources of funds to ensure compliance with Securities Commission, Bursa Malaysia, Bank Negara Malaysia, and other relevant regulations.
