Job summary

RHB Investment Bank Berhad is seeking a Paid Dealer's Representative in Malaysia to execute trades for local and foreign retail equities and drive client-focused sales and marketing initiatives.

You will manage client portfolios, promote cross-sell of related products, and ensure adherence to applicable rules and regulations. The role emphasizes regulatory compliance and risk-aware client service.

Qualifications

• Degree or professional qualification in finance, business, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and relationship management skills.
• Knowledge of securities and futures industry regulations.
• CMSRL is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Execute trades for local and foreign retail equities clients.
• Conduct sales and marketing activities to acquire new clients.
• Manage client portfolios by providing market updates and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
• Promote and cross-sell the Bank’s related products to clients.
• Participate in branch marketing and promotional activities to ensure smooth execution of events.
• Review clients’ credit limits based on collateral, financial standing, and track record to minimize contra losses and manage risk effectively.
• Take reasonable steps to understand clients’ investment objectives, financial background, and source of funds.
• Ensure compliance with rules and regulations set by the Securities Commission, Bursa Malaysia, Bank Negara Malaysia, and other relevant governing bodies.
