Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in retail or consumer-facing industries.
• Proven track record managing large-scale retail operations across multiple locations (>100 sites).

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the overall retail strategy to support business growth and long-term objectives.
• Drive revenue, profitability, and operational performance across a nationwide store network.
• Lead and inspire retail operations teams to achieve strong commercial and customer outcomes.
• Champion initiatives that enhance customer experience, loyalty, and brand positioning.
• Partner with commercial and support functions to optimise product assortment, pricing, and promotions.
• Identify and evaluate opportunities for market expansion and network development.
• Drive operational excellence through continuous improvement, productivity, and execution discipline.
• Lead business transformation initiatives including digital and omnichannel development.
• Ensure governance, compliance, and risk management across retail operations.

The Successful Applicant

We are seeking a commercially astute retail leader with strong experience managing large-scale, multi‑site operations within a fast‑paced consumer‑facing environment. Key requirements include:

• Degree‑qualified in Business, Retail, Healthcare, Pharmacy, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive leadership experience within retail or consumer‑facing industries.
• Proven track record managing large‑scale retail operations across multiple locations. At least > 100 sites
• Strong commercial acumen with experience driving business performance and profitability.
• Demonstrated success leading organisational growth, transformation, or operational improvement initiatives.
• Experience within pharmacy, healthcare, health & beauty, FMCG, or related retail sectors is highly advantageous.
• Strong understanding of retail operations, customer engagement, and commercial management.
• Proven ability to influence and collaborate across cross‑functional leadership teams.
• Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Hands‑on leadership style with the ability to thrive in a dynamic and evolving business environment.
