Job summary

Jaya Grocer in Malaysia is seeking a Customer Service Representative to greet customers, handle inquiries and resolve issues with patience and courtesy. You will assist with product questions, exchanges, refunds, and support store operations to ensure a smooth shopping experience.

Required languages are Bahasa Malaysia and English, with Chinese as an added advantage. Candidates should have at least 1 year of customer service experience, strong communication, and the ability to work independently

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in customer service.
• Essential language(s): Bahasa Malaysia and English; Chinese language will be an added advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer satisfaction oriented.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.

Responsibilities

• Build sustainable relationships with customers through interactive communications.
• Attend inquiries, handle complaints, provide solutions and alternatives.
• Resolve and update all customer feedback/product in the outlet to Store Manager and management following up to ensure resolutions.
• Assist with product inquiries, refunds and exchanges.
• Maintain hygiene, grooming and decorum throughout the day.
• Work with operational staff to ensure customers receive efficient and courteous service.
• Understand store layout to assist customers, e.g. product placement.
• Promote the selected products according to outlets promotions and festive season.
• Engage with customers to discover their wants and needs, provide advice or recommendation, directing them to the right product.
• Assist in general operational functions and ad-hoc assignments.
