Job summary

The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is seeking a Design and Construction Executive in Malaysia. The position holder will assist the Head of Project Manager in all matters pertaining to the overall project management and development process, including the new cafe opening, cafe revamping and any other ad-hoc project assigned.

Key responsibilities include identifying risks, ensuring proper site administration of contracts, coordinating with stakeholders, and overseeing QA/QC, with a focus on defect

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Architecture and Design.
• 4+ years of project and design experience in retail or comparable retail environment; business development is a plus.
• Demonstrated adaptability in unstructured or fluid work environments.

Responsibilities

• Identify possible risks on the project and plan contingency measures.
• Be responsible for site administration of construction contracts/drawings and liaise with relevant agencies and permits.
• Work with stakeholders to identify site requirements and plan accordingly.
• Ensure workmanship by contractors and address non-conformances.
• Coordinate with consultants on technical drawings for all trades.
• Liaise with designer, contractors, authorities and project consultants on QA/QC and day-to-day operations.
• Assist the Project Handover team in defect rectification during the Defect Liability Period (DLP).
• Complete other administrative tasks as required by the Project team.
