Job summary

Always Marketing (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Business Development Executive/Manager to propel growth for RetailAIM, our retail technology and field force automation platform. You will engage customers, understand their challenges, design solutions, demonstrate value, and help bring the solution to life.

You'll work at the intersection of Sales, Technology, Retail, and AI, collaborating with customers and internal teams to translate needs into actionable, scalable deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in IT, system integration, technology sales, pre-/post-sales, or product strategy.
• Experience in retail systems, FMCG technology, POS, ERP, SaaS, field force automation, or system integration is a plus.
• Strong ability to translate customer needs into practical solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Willingness to travel for customer meetings, site visits, product demonstrations, and project implementation.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business opportunities by identifying, engaging, and developing relationships with potential customers, clients, and resellers.
• Understand customer business and system requirements through discussions, site surveys, information gathering, and solution planning.
• Lead pre-sales activities including RFQ/RFP responses, solution presentations, product demonstrations, POCs, and technical proposals.
• Develop solution proposals, including scope of work, system sizing, licensing, technical requirements, and cost estimates.
• Work closely with project managers and software engineers throughout implementation, deployment, training, commissioning, and post-sales support.
