Job summary

HTFU RESTAURANT SDN BHD in Petaling Jaya is seeking an Outlet Manager to lead daily operations across our outlets. You will manage costs, schedules, and staff performance to ensure smooth service and high quality.

The role requires at least 3 years in a similar position, fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia, SPM, and strong leadership. You will train teams on SOPs, handle admin tasks, and maintain excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of working experience in a similar position; preference in Food & Beverage, Hospitality or Retail.
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.
• SPM is required.
• Basic computer skills (MS Excel/Word) are required.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
• Responsible, proactive and customer service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently manage outlet costs to spend within budget.
• Accurately allocate petty cash and manage funds.
• Relocate manpower across outlets to support operations.
• Audit stock levels and place orders to maintain inventory.
• Ensure food and drink quality is consistently maintained.
• Monitor outlet cleanliness and maintain equipment functioning.
• Provide training on SOPs and menu items to staff.
• Deliver advanced customer service and resolve issues promptly.
• Complete monthly paperwork accurately and on time.
• Plan and announce staff schedules two weeks in advance.

Job description

• At least 3 years of working experience in similar position, preferably in the Food  Beverage, Hospitality or Retail industry.
• Strong command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia language.
• Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) is required.
• Basic computer skill (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, etc.) is required.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Willing to work on shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
• Responsible, proactive and customer service oriented.

Key Responsibilities

• Efficiently manage outlet’s cost to ensure expenses are spent optimally and effectively within budget.
• Accurately assign petty cash to each outlet to ensure petty cash is managed appropriately.
• Relocate manpower across outlets in a timely manner based on the need of the respective outlet to ensure business is well-functioning.
• Audit stock level in a timely manner and place orders to ensure outlet stock is sufficient.
• Ensure food and drinks qualities consistency in a timely manner to ensure product quality is consistently maintained.
• Cautiously monitor cleanliness of the outlet.
• Inspect and maintain the outlet cautiously to ensure machines and all other electrical equipment and appliances in the outlet are working well.
• Provide comprehensive training / briefing on all SOPs for respective workstations, menu items, etc. to new and existing employees to ensure they excel in their job.
• Continuously provide advanced customer service.
• Efficiently and accurately complete monthly paperwork to ensure timely submission.
• Ensure work schedule is always completed and announced to the team at least two weeks in advance for manpower planning purpose.
• Tactfully handle disciplinary issues, if any, to maintain workplace harmony.
• Effectively and proactively act as a liaison between company and outlets on various administration matters, i.e. recruitment, reporting, receive and deliver messages / memo / announcement, etc.
• Other tasks and responsibilities as and when assigned by your superior.
