Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced Building Manager to oversee daily operations of a low-density residential development in Malaysia. The role requires 3–5 years' experience in residential property or building management, with English and Mandarin fluency.

Bahasa Malaysia is a plus, and strong leadership is essential. You will supervise maintenance teams, manage contractors, handle residents’ inquiries, and prepare budgets and reports.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in residential property or building management.
• Fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin) – spoken and written.
• Bahasa Malaysia is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently, reliable and well-organized.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day building operations and ensure smooth management.
• Supervise maintenance works, repairs, contractors and service providers.
• Manage security, cleaning, landscaping and other outsourced services.
• Handle residents’ requests, feedback and complaints professionally.
• Prepare and control budgets, expenses and service charge accounts.
• Ensure compliance with the Strata Management Act and relevant regulations.
• Organize and attend Management Committee and residents’ meetings.
• Ensure the building is well maintained, safe and in good condition.
• Prepare reports and handle basic administrative tasks.
