Qualifications

• Experience in managing a hotel operation, especially as a Front Office Manager or Operations Manager.
• Proficient in hotel software and committed to staff training.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.
• Knowledge of Penang Peranakan heritage is a plus.
• Customer service orientation and integrity.

• Provide strong leadership to the team and ensure efficient hotel operations.
• Oversee daily front office and hotel-wide activities to maintain service quality.
• Train and mentor staff; uphold high standards of hospitality and guest care.

The role of the Resident Manager is to provide strong leadership to the team and ensure an efficient and effective running of the hotel. Communication and problem-solving skills are essential with different communities.

Managing and maintain, probably the most beautiful hotel in George Town takes dedication and great attention for details. The candidate must be proficient in hotel software, statutory regulations as well as a skilled trainer.

An extrovert, with the sense of compassion and personal integrity will be pre-requisite. The knowledge of Penang Peranakan heritage and culture will be an added advantage.

This position is more suitable for a current Front Office Manager / Operations Manager looking to progress to the next level.
