Job summary

Millennium Technology Services Co. is seeking a skilled and proactive Resident Engineer specializing in SD-WAN and Zscaler to support enterprise network security and connectivity operations.

The role requires hands-on deployment, troubleshooting, monitoring, and optimization of secure network infrastructure across large environments. The candidate will work with internal teams, vendors, and customers to resolve incidents, ensure compliant, high-availability services, and continuously improve

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in network engineering, SD-WAN, or cybersecurity support.
• Hands-on experience with SD-WAN technologies and enterprise network infrastructure.
• Experience supporting Zscaler platforms such as ZIA and ZPA is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Routing & Switching.
• Familiarity with Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Aruba products and related networking tools.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain SD-WAN across enterprise environments.
• Monitor network performance and connectivity for optimal operations.
• Troubleshoot LAN/WAN, VPN, and routing issues.
• Perform upgrades, patches, and preventive maintenance activities.
• Support firewall, routing, switching, and wireless infrastructure when required.
• Configure and manage Zscaler ZIA/ZPA solutions and related security policies.
• Troubleshoot access, cloud security, and policy-related issues.
• Monitor security alerts, logs, and incidents; ensure compliance with standards.
• Provide onsite and remote technical support for network and security incidents.
• Perform root cause analysis and timely resolutions for escalated issues.
• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and customers during troubleshooting.
• Maintain documentation including network diagrams, SOPs, incident reports, and change records.
• Participate in network migration, enhancement, and implementation projects.
• Recommend improvements for security, scalability, and performance.

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Resident Engineer specializing in SD-WAN and Zscaler technologies to support enterprise network security and connectivity operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for deployment, troubleshooting, monitoring, optimization, and support of secure network infrastructure across enterprise environments.

This role requires strong technical expertise in SD-WAN architecture, cloud security platforms, network troubleshooting, and stakeholder communication to ensure stable and secure network performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain SD-WAN solutions across enterprise environments.
• Monitor network performance, availability, and connectivity to ensure optimal operations.
• Troubleshoot network, routing, VPN, and connectivity issues within LAN/WAN environments.
• Perform configuration, upgrades, patching, and preventive maintenance activities.
• Support firewall, routing, switching, and wireless infrastructure when required.
• Implement and manage Zscaler solutions including ZIA (Zscaler Internet Access) and ZPA (Zscaler Private Access).
• Configure security policies, access controls, URL filtering, SSL inspection, and authentication integrations.
• Troubleshoot user access, cloud security, and policy-related issues.
• Monitor security alerts, logs, and incidents while ensuring compliance with security standards.
• Provide onsite and remote technical support for network and security-related incidents.
• Perform root cause analysis and provide timely resolution for escalated issues.
• Work closely with internal teams, vendors, and customers during troubleshooting and implementation.
• Maintain proper documentation including network diagrams, SOPs, incident reports, and change records.

Project & Improvement Initiatives

• Participate in network migration, enhancement, and implementation projects.
• Recommend improvements for network security, scalability, and performance optimization.
• Assist in testing and validating new technologies and solutions.

Requirements

Education

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or related field.

Experience

Minimum 2–5 years of experience in network engineering, SD-WAN, or cybersecurity support.

Hands-on experience with SD-WAN technologies and enterprise network infrastructure.

Experience supporting Zscaler platforms such as ZIA and ZPA is highly preferred.
