Job summary

Oxydata Software Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Senior Professional Services Engineer to design and deliver cloud and network security solutions for enterprise clients, with focus on Netskope and Zscaler.

You will lead workshops, configure security policies, integrate with SSO/IdP, SIEM and firewalls, and guide migrations from legacy proxies to cloud-based SSE/SASE platforms, while building runbooks and knowledge-transfer materials.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in a related discipline.
• 5-8 years of relevant experience in network security roles.
• Legal right to work in Malaysia; visa sponsorship not available.
• Hands-on experience with Netskope or Zscaler security platforms.
• Experience configuring security policies, user access, traffic steering and authentication.
• Understanding of SSE/SASE and Zero Trust architecture.
• Strong TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS knowledge and network architecture.
• Experience with proxies, NGFWs, SSL/IPSec, VPN, SSO/identity integration, SIEM, DLP.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and configure Netskope and/or Zscaler security solutions for enterprise customers.
• Deliver customer implementations covering SSE/SASE, Zero Trust, Secure Web Gateway, and private application access.
• Support migrations from legacy proxy, VPN, or security solutions to cloud-based platforms.
• Conduct requirements gathering, technical workshops, and solution design discussions with customer security and network teams.
• Configure and troubleshoot security policies, traffic steering, authentication, access controls, and security policies.
• Integrate solutions with enterprise technologies such as SSO, IdP, SIEM, MDM, and firewalls.
• Troubleshoot complex network and security issues involving routing, DNS, proxies, SSL/TLS, VPN, and application connectivity.
• Perform solution testing, validation, and production readiness assessments.
• Develop implementation plans, low-level designs, configuration documentation, runbooks, and knowledge-transfer materials.
• Work closely with customer architects, security teams, network teams, and internal engineering/support teams.
• Provide post-implementation optimisation and technical guidance to improve the customer's overall security posture.

We are seeking an experienced Professional Services Engineer – Cloud and Network Security to design, implement, and optimise cloud-based security solutions for enterprise customers, focusing on Netskope and/or Zscaler platforms.

Requirements

Must-have:

• Diploma or higher in a related discipline.
• 5-8 years of relevant experience in network security roles.
• Applicants must have the legal right to work in Malaysia. Visa sponsorship is not available.
• Strong hands-on implementation experience with at least one of the following: Netskope cloud security/SSE platform or Zscaler ZIA/ZPA.
• Experience configuring security policies, user access, traffic steering, and authentication.
• Understanding of SASE/SSE and Zero Trust architecture.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, routing, and network architecture.
• Experience with proxies/secure web gateways, next-generation firewalls, SSL/IPSec, VPN technologies, SSO/identity integration, DLP, SIEM, and security monitoring.
• Strong customer-facing communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to translate customer security requirements into implementable technical solutions.

Nice-to-have:

• Hands-on experience across both Netskope and Zscaler.
• Migration experience from traditional proxy/VPN platforms to cloud-based SSE/SASE solutions.
• Experience with enterprise identity providers and SSO.
• Knowledge of Cloud APIs and endpoint/MDM technologies.
• Basic scripting/automation knowledge using Python or similar languages.
• Exposure to regulatory/security frameworks such as PCI, PII, and SOX.
• Experience working with large enterprise customers.
• Relevant Netskope or Zscaler certifications.
• Ability to independently lead technical workshops and implementation activities.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Strong documentation and knowledge-transfer skills.
• Comfortable working with customer architects, security teams, and senior technical stakeholders.
