Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a reservation/guest service assistant to join our front desk team in Genting Permai. You will handle check-ins/check-outs, liaise with guests, and manage inquiries via phone, email, and WhatsApp.

The ideal candidate has a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree and at least 1 year in reservations or guest services, with fluent English and Bahasa Malaysia. Hostel accommodation is provided, and shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in any field.
• Minimum 1 year working experience in reservation/guest service.
• Hospitality experience in hotel/accommodation/short stay is advantageous.
• Strong communication and guest service skills.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Handle check-in/check-out and reservation requests via phone, email or third party requests with attentive, courteous service.
• Produce and check daily reservation reports and confirmations.
• Assist in daily auditing of sales and operation transactions.
• Manage guest inquiries via WhatsApp, email, telephone, and written communication.
• Provide guest service and handle various operations tasks as needed.

Job Requirements :-

1. Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in any field.
2. MUST have minimum 1 year working experience as reservation/guest service assistant
3. Past working experience in Hotel industry/ Accommodation / Short stay/Homestay is advantage.

Job Description :-

1. Knowledge in OTA platforms (Booking.com and Agoda.com) is an advantage
2. Proficiency in Google Applications, OTA Extranets and Hotel PMS.
3. The reservation processes such as check-in/check-out, all reservation requests, changes and cancellation received by phone, email or third party request and provides attentive, courteous and efficient customer service at all times.
4. Produce and check daily reports, ensuring that the previous day’s reservations are accurate and confirmations are sent.
5. Assist on daily auditing of sales and operation transactions.
6. Reservation through various networking such as via WhatApps, e-mail, telephone and handle all guests inquiries and matters
7. Provide guest service through Whatsapp, Phone Call & any written communication.
8. Handle certain operation’s task
9. Ad-hoc task from superior/HOD
