• Experience with ISO 9001, IATF 16949 and ISO 14000.

Job description

Major Responsibilities :

1. Assist in the development of adhesive formulations under manager/section manager' guidance.

2. Conduct independent research on raw materials, formulation improvements, and process enhancements.

3. Perform material synthesis and analyze test results to optimize adhesive properties.

4. Characterize and evaluate product performance using laboratory testing equipment.

5. Prepare technical documents, including Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and Technical Data Sheets (TDS).

6. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and proper laboratory practices.

7. Collaborate with team members to achieve project objectives and development milestones.

8. Provide updates on research progress and key findings to manager or section manager.

9. Conduct basic troubleshooting for adhesive performance issues during testing or production.

10. Support customers technically in product applications and troubleshooting under supervision.

Job Requirements:

1. Possess a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Material Science, Chemistry, Physics, Applied Science, Industrial Chemistry, Materials Engineering, Polymer Engineering, Analytical Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, or any related field.

2. Strong proficiency in written and spoken English, Mandarin and Malay.

3. Demonstrates high initiative in problem-solving, innovation, and research activities.

4. Not allergic to chemicals, as work involves laboratory-based research.

5. Detail-oriented and organized, ensuring high-quality research and documentation.

6. 2-3 years of working experience in chemical field with experience in Photonics

7. Experience in manufacturing environment with significant hands on with mechanical equipment and experience.

8. Knowledge or Experience in optical and photonic application

9. Knowledge in project management and DoE

10. Experience in ISO 9001, IATF 16949 and ISO 14000
