Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's/PhD in relevant field or related discipline.
• Strong English, Mandarin and Malay communications skills.
• Shows initiative in problem-solving and research.
• Not allergic to chemicals; comfortable with laboratory research.
• Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills.
• 2-3 years chemical field experience with Photonics.
• Hands-on in manufacturing with mechanical equipment.
• Knowledge of optical and photonic applications.
• Familiarity with DoE and project management.
• Experience with ISO 9001, IATF 16949 and ISO 14000.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing adhesive formulations under guidance.
• Conduct independent research on materials and formulations.
• Synthesize materials and analyze test results to optimize properties.
• Characterize and evaluate product performance with lab testing gear.
• Prepare SDS and TDS technical documents.
• Ensure safety regulations and lab practices compliance.
• Collaborate with team to meet project milestones.
• Provide progress updates to managers on findings.
• Troubleshoot adhesive performance issues during tests.
• Support customers technically in product applications.
