Sandvik Mining and Construction (M) Sdn Bhd seeks aTechnical Advisor to provide expert mechanical engineering advisory support to the mine process plant operations and maintenance teams. You will ensure TLO activities align with OEM recommendations, design parameters, and best practice to sustain nameplate capacity, reliability, and safety.

The role requires a mechanical engineering degree, strong maintenance technology experience, and fluency in English or French.

Formación

Degree-qualified Mechanical Engineer
Strong understanding of maintenance technologies and bulk material handling equipment
Fluent in English or French; bilingual preferred
Experience in advisory/mentoring roles within mining or bulk materials handling is highly regarded
Must complete a medical examination prior to mobilization and be willing to travel to Guinea on a 4 weeks-on / 2 weeks-off roster

Responsabilidades

Oversight of maintenance and operations to achieve nameplate capacity; improve reliability and safety
Provide expert advisory support, mentoring operators and maintenance staff
Review and validate maintenance strategies; manage NCRs and ensure compliance
Lead RCA investigations and support lifecycle cost analysis and asset health reviews
Participate in outages, planning, and coordination with third parties
Prepare and submit required deliverables and communicate outcomes in performance reviews
