Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a Technical Support & Field Service Engineer to bridge remote technical assistance with hands-on on-site service. You will be the first line of contact for customers and internal teams, while also installing, commissioning, maintaining and repairing machinery at client sites.

The role requires a Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering, 5+ years of hands-on experience, and the ability to read drawings and schematics.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or related field.
• Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in machinery servicing or field engineering.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Experience with troubleshooting automated/industrial machinery.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support via help desk channels.
• Serve as Field Service Engineer for installation, commissioning and maintenance on-site.
• Diagnose issues and guide on-site technicians to resolution.
• Log issues, track progress, and dispatch resources when needed.
• Set up, test, and commission new machinery per specifications.
• Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, and repairs on equipment.
• Provide on-site training to customers on machine operation and basic maintenance.
