Job summary

Air Liquide in Malaysia, Petaling Jaya, is seeking a Shift Production Execution Pilot to support remote operation of Air Separation Units across the APAC region. This full-time role involves coordinating with site operations and engineering support to optimize load, safety, and efficiency for 24/7 operations.

Applicants should hold a degree in Chemical Engineering and/or Process Control, with 1–5 years in Operations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical Engineering and/or Process Control or equivalent.
• 1–5 years of experience as a Plant/Process Engineer in Operations or Operations Management (preferred).
• Willingness to work on a 24/7 rotating shift schedule (including weekends and public holidays).
• Fluent in English (verbal and written).
• Strong communication, autonomy and ability to learn quickly.

Responsibilities

• Systematically run the asset optimizer and execute changes to adjust ASU production.
• Communicate plant-related information and coordinate site activities during remote operation.
• Interact with customers and stakeholders; participate in crisis management.
• Deliver effective shift handovers and drive continuous improvement projects.
