Rimini Street, Inc. in Malaysia is seeking a Senior Accountant to partner with our parent company in daily transaction recording across multiple entities and support monthly closes and financial reporting.

The role requires 5+ years in accounting or audit, strong technical accounting skills, and experience with US GAAP and foreign currency translation. Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics AX/D365 and/or BlackLine is a plus.

Qualificações

• Degree in Accounting (required).
• 5+ years’ accounting or audit experience preferred.
• Experience with US GAAP reporting and SOX/SEC is a plus.
• Experience with local accounting requirements is a plus.
• Experience with foreign subsidiaries and currency translation.
• Experience with MS Dynamics AX/D365 and/or BlackLine is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Recording/payment of vendor invoicing.
• Tracking and recording prepaid activity.
• Recording monthly payroll activity and accruals into the G/L.
• Fixed asset accounting.
• Balance sheet reconciliations.
• Compile reporting schedules for quarterly/annual filings (foreign subsidiaries).
• Collaborate with AP, Payroll, Tax and Treasury to ensure timely entries.
• Coordinate with external accounting firms for tax, audit, and statutory reporting.
• Maintain documentation of internal controls in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes to enhance efficiency.
• Participate in ERP implementation and ongoing enhancements.
• Perform special projects or ad hoc analyses as required.
