Job summary

Rimini Street, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Accountant to join our international accounting team. This remote role, preferably based near Kuala Lumpur, focuses on monthly close, general ledger activity, and financial reporting for multiple entities.

You will collaborate with Payroll, Tax, and Treasury teams, ensure SOX controls, and support ERP system enhancements while maintaining strong accounting records and timely compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• 5+ years' experience in accounting or audit firm.
• Experience with US GAAP reporting and public company standards a plus.

Responsibilities

• Record vendor invoicing and payments; track prepaid activity.
• Record monthly payroll activity and accruals in the G/L.
• Perform fixed asset accounting and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare reporting schedules for quarterly/annual filings for foreign subsidiaries.
• Coordinate with AP, Payroll, Tax and Treasury for timely entries and filings; assist external audits.
