Job summary

Lam Research in Malaysia is seeking a Supplier MRB Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join the SET organization. You will manage supplier-related nonconforming quality issues that affect factory operations and drive MRB processes, containment, and disposition with supplier engineers and manufacturing teams.

You will gain broad technical exposure across machining, molding, PCB assembly, electronics, coatings, and related manufacturing processes, and use 8D, Lean Six Sigma, and data analysis to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Science or related field.
• 5+ years in manufacturing engineering, supplier engineering, operations, or quality assurance.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems and manufacturing processes.
• Experience in MRB operations and nonconformance management.
• Excellent communication and data-driven decision making.
• Ability to lead meetings and drive resolution in a fast-paced environment.
• Analytical skills with proficiency in statistical analysis and Lean Six Sigma.

Responsibilities

• Manage supplier-related nonconforming quality issues affecting factory operations per MRB process.
• Participate in daily MRB activities and reviews with supplier engineers and manufacturing teams.
• Initiate containment actions and provide timely stakeholder updates.
• Drive closure of overdue MRB records through proactive follow-up and escalation.
• Facilitate alignment on disposition ownership and supplier responsibility.
• Monitor MRB aging, overdue actions, closure, and bottlenecks.
• Coordinate technical investigations, supplier rework, and inspections with stakeholders.
• Analyze recurring defects and implement corrective actions.
• Develop process improvements to enhance MRB efficiency and reduce nonconformances.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives across organizational levels.
