Keywords Studios is expanding its Southeast Asia team, seeking AAA, experienced Environment Artists with Lighting focus. Roles can be located in Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines (Remote), Singapore (Onsite). This is a permanent, full-time position at Keywords Studios.

As a global leader in art services for AAA publishers, you will create high-quality environment art with a strong emphasis on lighting, collaborate across disciplines, and contribute to lighting passes and performance optimization.

Qualifications

• Shipped AAA or high-quality game project experience.
• Strong portfolio showing lighting, composition, and environment art.
• Solid understanding of real-time rendering, lighting theory, and PBR workflows.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality environment art with emphasis on lighting, mood and atmosphere.
• Build, iterate and optimise lighting setups supporting gameplay, narrative and art direction.
• Collaborate with art direction, level design and tech art to ensure lighting enhances readability and performance.
• Author and maintain lighting passes, post-processing profiles and materials as needed.
• Troubleshoot lighting issues related to performance and consistency across platforms.
