Remote AAA VFX Artist – Create Stunning Game Effects

Keywords Studios is seeking an experienced VFX Artist to contribute to AAA console titles. This role is based in South East Asia with the option to work remotely from Malaysia or Indonesia and is a permanent, full-time position.

You will produce bespoke VFX, collaborate with technical teams to optimize pipelines, and maintain a high standard of quality across gameplay events, ambience, and effects. A strong reel and proficiency in Maya, Houdini, Unreal or Unity are required.

Formación

• At least 2+ years’ production experience as a VFX artist in the games industry working on cutting edge AAA console titles
• Advanced skills in games development software such as Maya & games engines
• Understanding of shaders and the rendering pipeline as it relates to VFX
• Previous experience with or understanding of Houdini, a distinct advantage
• In-depth knowledge of VFX principals and good sense of timing and staging
• Creativity, problem solving, and strong communication
• Ability to follow directions and collaborate productively with others
• A VFX reel demonstrating outstanding visual and technical ability
• Exceptional eye and drive for quality and detail
