Qualifications

• Proven experience as a stylized Environment Artist on a high-quality mobile game project.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating lighting, composition, and environment art fundamentals.
• Proficiency with modern game engines like Unreal, Unity, or proprietary engines.
• Solid understanding of lighting theory, color, exposure, and real-time rendering.
• Experience with PBR workflows and optimization for real-time environments.
• Ability to work collaboratively across disciplines and iterate quickly based on feedback.
• Experience with lighting tools, profiling/debugging, or scripting for workflow automation.

Responsibilities

• Creates high-quality environment art with emphasis on lighting, mood, and atmosphere.
• Builds, iterates, and optimizes lighting setups that support gameplay.
• Collaborates closely with art direction and level design.
• Authors and maintains lighting passes and environment shaders.
• Troubleshoots lighting issues across platforms.
• Contributes to visual benchmarks and establishes best practices.
