Job summary

GE Vernova provides on-site leadership as Lead Technical Field Advisor for Steam Turbine and Generator maintenance and outage activities at utility and industrial power plants. You will coordinate field resources, interpret engineering docs, guide complex outages, and ensure safe, high-quality delivery in line with GE standards.

Strong ownership, decision-making, and team leadership are essential for success.

Qualifications

8+ years of field services experience in power plant (Utility, industrial, or Oil & Gas).
Ability to lead site execution independently and manage complex outage scope.
Hands-on dismantling, inspection, reassembly, and troubleshooting of mechanical equipment.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, schematics, and OEM documentation.
English proficiency required.

Responsibilities

Lead on-site mechanical scope execution for Steam Turbine, Generator, and Valve outage and maintenance activities following safety procedures, with high quality and on time.
Own field execution at site and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards.
Coordinate other TFAs, contractors, and customer personnel during complex outages.
Interpret drawings, P&IDs, schematics, procedures, and technical documentation to support field work.
Drive disassembly, inspection, reassembly, alignment, and troubleshooting of turbine and generator components.
Support outage planning, execution tracking, issue resolution, and post-outage closeout.
Mentor and support other field team members as needed.
Build strong customer relationships through clear communication and reliable execution.
